Can I carry my Sugar Gliders outside of my house in a purse or bag?

Question by Madison: Can I carry my Sugar Gliders outside of my house in a purse or bag?
I got my sugar gliders just a couple days ago and their bonding pouches have not arrived yet. I was wondering if I could put them in a zip up purse with their sleeping pouch and food and carry them around to places with me.

I don’t think it would be a good idea, as if they do get loose somehow (they are very smart)…………Then you might not see them again………….

Carrying them in a regular purse isn’t really a good idea.

One reason is that the purse material may not “breathe” as much as their bonding pouch would — which could result in suffocation.
